A friendly face behind the figures
Hi, I'm Tessa, the founder of Neskar. I trained and qualified as an ACA at Wilkins Kennedy LLP, where I spent nearly seven years in audit and accounts, working with clients across a wide range of sectors. I then moved into industry as Head of External Reporting at an international insurance broker, leading group audits alongside KPMG and Deloitte and preparing financial statements under both UK GAAP and IFRS.
After years in large corporate environments, I set up Neskar to do something I find far more rewarding: working directly and closely with small businesses in Winchester, across Hampshire and in London. My focus is on owner-managed companies who want an accountant that actually knows their numbers and is there when they need them.
My clients use Xero to manage their own day-to-day bookkeeping. I review it regularly, catch anything that needs attention, and make sure the numbers are actually telling you something useful. Then I handle everything else: accounts, tax, compliance, company secretarial, so nothing slips through the cracks.
